Every year during its operations in Myanmar, Telenor hosted its Sustainability Briefing to inform civil society organisations, media, and related stakeholders about its contributions to empowering Myanmar through ongoing work in key sustainability areas, as well as the challenges encountered in these efforts.

Senior management, including the Chief Executive Officer, presented new and ongoing initiatives that contribute to sustainable and responsible business growth of the Myanmar in its journey to become a digital society. The Annual Sustainable Business Briefings were an important part of the company’s commitment to transparency and openness regarding business opportunities, sustainability challenges, and key issues in the country.

As a member of the corporate communications team, I played several roles in organising the briefings, from preparing the presentation deck and curating the agenda to engaging with media representatives and civil society organisations at the event.
